Withstands high heat
Our unique processing technology has increased the heat resistance temperature of the material to 120°C, allowing it to withstand harsh environments such as those involving reflected heat from window glass.
"Memory Turf Heat" is an artificial turf that retains all the features of Memory Turf while offering superior heat resistance.
By improving the heat resistance temperature of the material, it can now be installed in locations that experience high temperatures.

The V-shape and core design make
it less likely to collapse, so it lasts a long time.

ImprovedPolyethylene
By increasing the degree of crystallinity of polyethylene, the melting point was raised, improving the heat resistance temperature of the artificial turf to 120°C.

Conventional artificial turf becomes noticeably brown when exposed to high temperatures because the straight fibers gradually shrink.
Are you aware of the problem of artificial turf shrinking and turning brown?
We receive over 100 inquiries about this problem annually, including those involving products from other companies, and the number continues to increase year after year.
Under adverse conditions such as climate and reflected heat from windows with high heat-shielding and insulating properties, the surface of artificial turf can become extremely hot. This can cause the straight fibers of the artificial turf to shrink, exposing the crimped fibers on the surface and resulting in a brownish, streaky appearance.
At the scene of the photograph, it was determined that the cause was the concentration of sunlight due to reflection off the window glass. This phenomenon is the same as when you can focus sunlight onto a piece of black paper with a magnifying glass and burn it.
Under certain conditions, reflective heat damage can occur even on the day of installation. When installing artificial turf, be sure to consult with our staff in advance to prevent any problems.
Furthermore, heat resistance means that the threads can withstand shrinkage caused by high temperatures, but it does not mean that the artificial turf surface will not get hot.

The reflected heat from sunlight can reach temperatures of up to 120°C, and since the heat resistance temperature of straight yarn (green grass) is around 80°C (the heat resistance temperature of memory turf is around 95°C), it cannot withstand the heat and shrinks.
Crimped yarn (the brown grass-like yarn) can withstand temperatures up to 150°C due to its different material properties.
The straight yarn shrinks, leaving only the crimped yarn behind, which is why it appears brown.
Memory Turf 28mm
(Heat resistant up to approximately 95°C)
At 100℃, the straight yarn underwent shrinkage, causing the crimped yarn to come to the surface.
The crimped threads become exposed and discolored.
Memory Turf Heat
Even after being subjected to heat of 120°C, no significant changes were observed in the artificial turf.
