FAQ
-
Does the product contain any carcinogenic substances?
No, Memory Turf is free of carcinogenic substances. Concerns regarding carcinogens are typically related to the rubber granules (infill) used in stadium-grade artificial turf and do not apply to the artificial turf itself.
Furthermore, we conduct "8 Heavy Metal Tests" to ensure our products are free from harmful metallic elements.
The results confirmed that no toxic metals were detected, and no carcinogens are present.
Our turf has no adverse effects on health, ensuring peace of mind for all users. -
Will drainage be an issue?
No, you do not need to worry about drainage. Memory Turf is designed with drainage holes at 10cm intervals, allowing rainwater to pass through efficiently.
If you are installing on soil or concrete with poor permeability where water tends to pool, we recommend improving the sub-base or ensuring a proper slope to facilitate water flow before installation. -
Do insects occur in the turf?
Artificial turf itself does not attract or cause insects to breed.
While installing artificial turf in a naturally insect-prone area will not eliminate them entirely, it can reduce their presence. Since artificial turf suppresses weed growth, it removes a primary food source and creates an environment with less moisture, making it less hospitable for insects. -
Does mold grow on the turf?
As long as there is proper drainage and no trapped moisture, the artificial turf itself will not cause mold.
Products within the Memory Turf series that have undergone "Mold Resistance Testing" offer superior antibacterial and antifungal properties, providing a clean and safe environment. -
Can herbicides be applied to the turf?
We do not recommend spraying anything other than water directly onto the turf. Some herbicides contain bleaching agents that may cause discoloration or fading.
For safety and to maintain the product's appearance, please avoid the use of chemicals that could negatively impact the human body or the turf’s fibers. -
What kind of sub-base is required?
The final appearance of Memory Turf is significantly affected by the smoothness of the sub-base, making proper preparation crucial.
Achieving a flat and even surface is key to a beautiful finish.
The product can be installed on various surfaces, including concrete, asphalt, crushed stone, or soil. Any sub-base is acceptable as long as it meets three criteria: it is firm, level/smooth, and well-draining. -
Is it safe to use fireworks or BBQs on the turf?
No. Please never use open flames or heat sources on the turf, as the fibers will melt.
However, in the event of accidental ignition, Memory Turf features flame-retardant (self-extinguishing) properties that prevent the fire from spreading, ensuring an extra layer of safety.
